  • Very simply put, a showreel is a video file showcasing various acting clips from one performer. You can find out more about what a showreel is here.

  • Showreel scenes are a great way to show your skills, however just being in possession of one doesn’t mean you’ll get taken on by an agent or get cast in a production.

  • While there is always a chance that your acting profile will match a potential role in an up-coming project, it is unfair (and misleading) to suggest that hiring NWAS as your production team will lead to further opportunities.

  • Yes! We keep a blog as well as a section for Acting Resources which will be updated to include e-books in the near-future.

  • First Scenes are simple dialogue-driven scenes designed to help actors land their first acting roles while Bespoke Scenes are designed to help an actor build on their skills and hone their brand.

  • Absolutely but we will need to confirm date and requirements for the actor before we can fully process the order.

  • Your shoot will be arranged for an appopriate time and at a location familiar to you (First Scenes) or at a hand-picked location (Bespoke Scenes +).

  • Possibly. Send a link to your showreel and/or acting profile through our contact form.

  • Sometimes. Let us know what you’re good at here and we’ll get in touch if you fit any of our current production needs.

  • Not directly. We often post our scenes on our social media channels, however we don’t consider ourselves as middle-people between actors and production companies.

  • Actors are often great at understanding the process of acting and how to improve the craft. What these scenes need, however. is technical skill and a solid understanding of directing and producing. All of our scenes are shot by directors with narrative feature film experience, even our First Scenes.
